The Group has extensive resources available for members at their Tuesday morning meetings, an abbreviated list is given below.

We have 6 laptops, all will normally have Wi-fi Internet access.
They can be used independently, with assistance or on your behalf.

We now have two visualisers which can be used to show photographs or documents to the whole group using a laptop and projector. Very useful for non-electronic resources. One of them also acts as a scanner.

We have 2 Microfiche Readers, one of which is portable and available on loan to members. There are also many microfiche with local Parish Registers.

We have a compact library holding a variety of books, to aid you with your Family History research in Yorkshire and beyond.
All of these are available on loan to members.

The most important asset of the Group is our members. Many are experienced family history researchers who are very willing to give support and advice to those members that are new to Family History research, or for those that wish to break down their personal "brick wall"

These are held at the rear room of Selby Town Hall, starting at 10am on alternate Tuesdays.

The first, very successful course, was held on the 11th January 2011,
in St Wilfrid's Church Hall, Brayton, Selby.

See our TRAINING page for more details.
